We have tried several methods of ministry outreach, but the most effective and preferred method is a one on one approach. Each member of Warrior Ministries of Oklahoma will be on the visiting list of an inmate somewhere in the State of Oklahoma prison structure. We will visit these inmates on the allowed visiting days generally spending our entire time from four to six hours each time with that inmate. We not only minister the love of Jesus Christ to these inmates, but instill within them that we are their friends and that they can trust us.
Through the years many inmates have made an impression on us, but one inmate stands out about the rest. Sean Sellers was incarcerated at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester, Oklahoma. Sean was on death row for triple murders that he committed when he was sixteen years of age. Sean Sellers shot a convenience store operator and a month later shot and kill his parents as they lay sleeping in bed. Sean was a Satanist at the time he committed these murdhaders and believed that he would receive some kind of power from Satan if he proved his allegiance to him.
After Sean was arrested, convicted and sentenced to death he began to realize that he been deceived and lied to by the god he served. While in prison Sean came across some of tapes from evangelist/comedian Mike Warnke, who had also been involved in the occult but had converted to Christianity. Sean began to realize that he had indeed been deceived and he converted to Christianity. While Sean was on death row, he became a vibrant witness and a true Warrior of the Cross for Jesus Christ.
In an effort to amend for the crimes that he committed Sean Sellers wrote the Web of Darkness, reaching out to teenagers and exposing them to the lies and deceptions of the occult. Sean was very transparent in his book, and warns everyone about the "traps" that Satan uses to get us involved in the occult.
