Warrior Ministries of Oklahoma is a ministry designed to battle on the front lines in Spiritual warfare. Warrior Ministries of Oklahoma believes in putting God’s love into action, out where the action is. We are the Warriors of the Christian faith. We do “spiritual battle” in places where most Christians will not even consider going. Warrior Ministries of Oklahoma goes into jails, prisons, on the streets and into bars, night clubs, anywhere a door opens where we can share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Early in 2005 the Board of Directors of Warrior Ministries of Oklahoma decided to recognize and honor those fellow “Warriors” in the faith by establishing the “Warriors of the Cross" award. This Award shall be granted on a semi-annual basis, in November and May of each coming year. Nominations for November shall be concluded the first day of preceding October, like wise the nominations for May will concluded the first day of the preceding April. The individuals name and date of recognition of the Warrior of the Cross award will be posted on this webSite.
This award will be granted to person(s) that have come to our attention by nomination either by Board Members, or other interested Parties, that feels the nominee warrants recognition for the good works they do. Persons that wish to make a nomination may do so by e-mail to nominate@warriorministries.us. the name of the person, a contact address, a telephone number where we can contact you in case of questions, and a statement of fact as to why that individual(s) should receive this award. Warrior Ministries will then verify the information given and discretely validate the nomination. You will be informed by email of the deciSion of the Board of Directors of Warrior Ministries of Oklahoma whether or not this award has been awarded. All decisions of the Board of Directors of Warrior Ministries of Oklahoma will be final and not subject to appeal.
The granting of this award will not given lightly, or to whomever so desires to have it. The person(s) who receive this award are people who have “A Spirit of ministry, the fight of a Warrior” and are also fighting on the front lines either by a one on one ministry, through the medium of evangelism by means of Gospel music, the writing of books, or teaching or preaching materials.
Each recipient of the Warrior of the Cross award, must be of good moral character, their lives must reflect what they are teaching or proclaiming.
The individual(s) ministry must be in evidence of what the Bible refers to as the bearing of “fruit” in their ministry. By that we mean, that we should be able to see converts to the Christian faith because of their faithful witness concerning the Lord Jesus Christ.
